SAXOMATIC UNIVERSE is Paul Weiling’s first solo performance, combining saxophone soundscapes, live electronics and video art. With his program “The (coming of the) Roaring Twenties” the saxophonist creates a retrospective on the early 20th century adding his personal, contemporary musical comment on the silent movies from almost hundred years ago. The result is a fascinating surrealistic journey from the wild 1920 scenes to state of the art sound designed saxophone music of the 21st century. |
